8 Steps To Be More Productive

Productivity has become an addiction in our society. I know this because I live in New York where literally taking a break is an anomaly. Productivity has taken the place of where self-worth should be. When we think that self-worth is dependent upon what we do, we try to do as much as we possibly can. This leads to an exhausting lifestyle.

Really, productivity should be the result of inspiration. When one is inspired, the productivity takes no effort. So the real question is, “how do I become more inspired?”

Inspiration is the natural byproduct of allowing yourself to go in the direction of happiness. If you want to feel inspiration you have to do what makes you happy and passionate. If you haven’t figured out what that is yet, you have to try new things. Your productivity level will sky rocket as a result of feeling passion in your life. Passion is a result of going into your happiness. Passion makes productivity effortless.

8 Steps To Be More Productive:

  1. Do not wait for the perfect time or perfect conditions to act. If you create your reality, no need to wait for external conditions to change.
  2. THINK big and set huge goals. If you aim for the moon and land on a cloud, that is much more than you could have possibly dreamed of.
  3. Get rid of tools of distraction, that is; TV, video games, Facebook, Instagram etc.
  4. Make a list of everything you want to accomplish the night before. Then the next day cross off everything you’ve done. This will make you feel more productive and according to the Law of Attraction, the more productive you feel the more productive you become. This also helps you organize and structure your time efficiently.
  5. Stop multitasking. Pick one thing you want to accomplish and place your energy there.
  6. Break down your big goals into small steps. Just look at the next step in front of you.
  7. Take care of your body by exercising, getting enough sleep and eating healthy foods.
  8. Always ask yourself, “What is the highest and best use of my time.” Ask yourself this all day long. The answer that comes to your mind in the first 3 seconds is the highest and best use of your time in that present moment.

Hope this is helpful.
